We are working with a reputable further education provider in Derbyshire. They are currently seeking an experienced engineering technician to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the engineering team and maintaining the workshop.

Job Description:

Provide support to the engineering team in various projects
Maintenance of the workshop, ensuring all equipment is in good working order
Assisting in the preparation of materials for training sessions and practical demonstrations
Adherence to health and safety protocols at all times
Assisting with the procurement of equipment
Regularly inspecting, servicing, and repairing tools and equipment as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

Relevant qualification in engineering or a related field
Proven experience as an engineering technician
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong understanding and commitment to health and safety regulations
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work well in a team
