Role: Associate - Exam Arrangement Assessor

Location: Dunstable - Central Bedfordshire College

Rate: £25.00 p/h

Contract Type: 2nd December 24 till 26th Jun 2025

About Role:

Central Bedford College are currently recruiting for an Associate Assessor at our Dunstable Campuses. As a Assessor you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through the following:
  • To undertake access arrangements for students identified as requiring special arrangements
  • To undertake additional learning support interviews and identify support recommendations
  • To manage a small caseload of High Needs Students
About You:
  • Hold or being working towards a post graduate certificate in SpLD or Certificate in Psychometric Testing, Assessment and Access Arrangements (CPT3A)
  • Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 or equivalent
  • Safeguarding training
  • Current experience of assessing
  • Knowledge of JCQ regulations
  • Experience of consistently providinga high-quality learning experience for all students
  • Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software confidently
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writing

What is an Associate?
Associates work on a short term basis as assigned. They teach or provide support services and they work with and are supported by core staff. As an Associate you will be issued with an Associate agreement, under this Agreement period you will be eligible to work on assignments offered to you. Typically an agreement runs from January to December and may be renewed thereafter.
