We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant secondary school. While experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is not essential, a willingness to work with students who have additional needs is a key requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN by implementing individualized support strategies and helping to develop their confidence and independence.
  • Help to manage student behavior, fostering a safe and inclusive learning space for all.
  • Collaborate with the school's SEN team to contribute to individual learning plans and monitor student progress.
  • Assist with administrative duties and classroom setup as required.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Passion for working with young people and supporting their educational development.
  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude, with a willingness to adapt to the needs of individual students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Flexibility to work in a range of classroom settings and with students of varying abilities.
  • Previous experience working with SEN students is advantageous but not essential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive and inclusive school environment with opportunities for professional development.
  • Training on SEN strategies and student support techniques.
  • The chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives, helping them to thrive in school and beyond.
