ABOUT THE ROLE

Main Purpose and Strategic Aims: To drive student recruitment and marketing targets in relation to organisational commercial objectives

Access Creative College (ACC) is looking for new talent to represent ACC London as part of our Outreach and Events team.

Outreach and Events Officers form a key part of our marketing team and recruitment cycle, tasked with reaching out to schools, youth groups and other key local stakeholders across London and the wider region to promote ACC as a great place to study for 16-18 and 19+ year olds.

We have an Outreach and Events Officer at all 7 of our centres nationally, and the role is a vital part of bringing ACC and the local community closer together.

What will my average day look like?

There is no average day as an Outreach and Events Officer. You could be calling or meeting up with careers leaders in schools to forge relationships, speaking in assemblies and classes, attending 'career marketplaces', delivering creative and tech-focused workshops to potential future students, or working with staff and student ambassadors to hold and manage exciting open events filled with activities and energy for young people and their parents/guardians to help them get to know ACC.

Another key part of this role is managing the ACC London social media accounts such as Instagram including coming up with engaging social media plans and content to reach our target audience and grow our follower numbers. You could be out at photoshoots with marketing, capturing behind-the-scenes content, or you could be speaking to staff, students or partners on camera to share tips and tricks for exciting topics.

As an Outreach and Events Officer for ACC, you'll work closely with the Centre Manager and our Central Office team to reach new parts of your community, champion London as a creative city on a national level, and create and implement new strategies and ideas with autonomy to hit recruitment targets.
