Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor to join our team, focused on delivering exceptional training and support to our apprentices. In this role, you will plan and deliver across the full Apprenticeship Standard, with a focus on work-based learning, ensuring learners are equipped with the skills needed to thrive in the electrical industry.

Your Key Responsibilities will be to:

• Deliver engaging training sessions across the Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, approximately 1-2 days per week.
• Provide on-site competence assessment and support as needed.
• Manage a caseload of apprentices, monitoring their progress and offering guidance throughout the programme.
• Collaborate with employers and apprentices to create tailored learning and delivery plans.
• Support learners in developing soft skills for workplace success.
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment, addressing any risks or concerns.
• Take an active role in your own professional development, including working towards the Award in Education and Training (AET) if required.

You should/must have:

• Must be a qualified Electrician with 18th Edition and AM2 certification.
• Relevant occupational competence through qualifications and/or job experience is essential.
• GCSE A -C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Assessment and verification qualifications (e.g., TAQA) are MUST.
• Strong observation and coaching skills to guide learners through their Apprenticeship.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with employers and learners.
