The Catering Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day operation of their designated commercial catering outlet. The post holder will be required to work with supervisory colleagues across the college in order to ensure that a high quality consistent offer is available to the customers of the catering outlets across South Essex College. The post holder will be responsive to the needs of the college's customers and will be expected to promote and achieve the highest possible customer service standards. The post holder will be required to provide a realistic working environment for students of South Essex College within their designated outlet. There will be an expectation that the post holder will work to grow the customer base and income across the business, whilst at the same time working to pre-agreed targets and budgets. The Catering Supervisor role is based within the Commercial Catering team and can be based at any campus. The working hours are between 07-00 and 22-00 on a 5 from 7 basis, although working patterns will vary as determined by the business. Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, 37 weeks per year.
