Finance Trainee

About the role: Finance Trainee

Due to our significant growth, we are excited to offer a Finance trainee opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in finance to join our dynamic finance team. This is a rare entry-level position which is ideal for candidates with limited experience but a strong passion for finance, offering the chance to gain practical knowledge and take the first steps in a finance career.

The role is designed to offer foundational experience in financial operations, focusing on developing essential skills for managing and analysing financial activities. You will follow a structured training program with dedicated support and ample time to deepen your knowledge. Throughout the role, you'll gain exposure to critical areas such as Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management.

Additionally, there will be an opportunity for the successful finance trainee candidate to pursue the first level of their AAT professional qualification to support their ongoing development.

Initially a one-year fixed-term position, there is potential for the right candidate to transition into a permanent role upon successful completion.

What do you need to be successful as a Finance Trainee at Activate Learning?

To be successful in this role as a Finance Trainee, candidates should have at least a Grade 5 or higher in GCSE Maths and English, a Level 3 qualification, and demonstrate a strong passion for finance or business operations.

The Finance Trainee should possess excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. A commitment to learning the essential building blocks of finance operations is essential for success in this role.
