We are seeking a KS1/KS2 Teacher for our high-achieving partner school in Mitcham. The school is dedicated to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment where every child can excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to support student learning and cater to individual learning styles.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and wellbeing.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and discipline in line with school policies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and curriculum.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Proven experience teaching at the primary level in a high achieving school.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new ideas.
