Think FE is excited to partner with a fantastic college in Gloucestershire in search of a great Computing Teacher who can teach T Level Computing and BTEC up to level 5.

Salary: £37,000 - £39,000/ annum (+ other bonus worth up to £10k )
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Gloucestershire

About:

• You will be teaching T Level Computing and BTEC up to level 5 Computing Studies, ensuring high-quality student learning through efficient use of College resources.
• You will also be assessing student progress and preparing progress reports.
• It requires maintaining accurate student records, managing student morale and discipline, and staying updated on curriculum developments.
• Collaboration with teaching teams, support for extracurricular activities, and engagement in community outreach are also key responsibilities.
• The role includes pursuing professional development, establishing industry links, participating in college events, contributing to course development, and undertaking any other relevant duties as required.

Ideal Candidate:

• Has a degree in IT or computing studies (or any relevant subject).
• Ideally, have experience teaching in FE or working with students in any capacity.
• Got a passing grade in Maths and English GCSE (C or grade 4)
• Holds a recognised teaching qualification like PGSE or QTS. (Not necessary APPLICATIONS FROM INDUSTRY ARE WELCOME)
