GSL Education are currently partnering with schools in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area, to find qualified primary school teachers seeking exciting new teaching opportunities. This position is open to ECTs who have just qualified and looking to kickstart their teaching career, as well as experienced teachers seeking a new and dynamic teaching opportunity in the new year. The role is ideally full-time permanent, however the schools may consider offering part-time or temporary work for the right candidate.

To ensure that you find a school that you love and thrive in, there is scope to begin on a more flexible teaching basis, so that you can explore a range of schools and experience different settings, year groups and locations before you pursue a more permanent role. This will give you the opportunity to get your foot in the door, meet new schools, and gain invaluable experiences which will benefit your teaching practice!

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and captivating lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and needs

• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration

• Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning atmosphere

• Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents

• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being

Requirements:

• Teaching Certification (QTS /PGCE)

• Solid knowledge of the primary school curriculum

• Previous experience working or volunteering in a primary school/ relevant placement experiences

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
