About the role as a Electrical Assessor:
As a qualified Electrical Assessor you will be responsible for managing a caseload of learners throughout their apprenticeship programmes and work placements. You will be required to review and assess our Electrical apprentices on site and in college to ensure they are making progress towards the qualification that forms their apprenticeship standard, providing clear and concise instruction on practical skills and theoretical knowledge
This role is a full time, permanent position, covering Guildford and surrounding areas. Hybrid/remote working available.
What do you need to be a successful Electrical Assessor at Activate Learning?
You will demonstrate excellent mentorship, experience in on site assessing of Electrical apprentices along with building positive relationships with employers
You will have a full Level 3 Electrical Installations Qualification and a minimum of 5 years industry experience as an Electrician , with proven experience of assessing Electrical Installation Apprenticeships.
In addition, you will hold relevant assessor award D32, D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will have an open mindset and attitude towards technology and virtual learning tools. Along with current Maths and English skills, you will also demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
