About The Role and Person

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Farm Assistant to join the team at Forty Hall Farm. The successful candidate will work within our Farm.

The primary responsibility of the Farm Shop Assistant is to deliver daily care of livestock, including feeding, watering, and monitoring the health of cattle, sheep, pigs, and poultry. They will support general farm operations by maintaining cleanliness in animal enclosures and garden areas, and assisting with planting, weeding, and harvesting as needed.

The candidate should excel in building positive relationships across all levels, possess strong communication skills for effective interaction with shop customers, staff, management, and farm colleagues. Previous experience in farming or animal husbandry is desired.
