Lecturer In Animal Care - Stoke Climsland Campus *Salary: Full time equivalent £25,048.08 to £26,795.04 per annum (Actual pro rata salary: £15,233.40 to £16,298.10 per annum) - Hours per week: 22.5 - Weeks per year: 52 - Closing Date: 11 October 2024 - Interview Date: 16 October 2024

Based at Duchy College Stoke Climsland, the Animal Management Department are looking for lecturing staff to join our dynamic and team.

The successful applicant should be educated to level 5 in Animal Science/Animal Management or a closely related subject. You will need sound knowledge of a broad range of subject areas, plus a proven track record of practical experience within the animal industry. A specialism in animal health or vet nursing may be advantageous.

The role will involve teaching and assessment of both theory-based subjects and practical skills from Level 1 to Level 3. You must have a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards this.

Enthusiasm, good teamwork and communication skills are essential. We are looking for a highly motivated, well-organised and conscientious individual to work with our high achieving team.

This is a part time post that will be Monday to Wednesday fixed term until July 2024 to accommodate our increasing numbers of students.
