We're seeking a dedicated Apprenticeship Mentor to join our dynamic team at IEG Group. You'll play a vital role in guiding and supporting our apprentices as they embark on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality personal development sessions aligned with the OFSTED Education Inspection Framework.

• Liaise with recruitment officers and ALS mentors to ensure apprentices receive timely support.
• Provide initial pastoral support, including career advice and guidance.
• Collaborate with student services, ALS, and exam teams to develop retention strategies.
• Monitor and track student attendance and punctuality, implementing interventions as needed.
• Identify and address safeguarding concerns, referring them to the appropriate team.
• Work towards improving attendance rates and reducing student withdrawals.
• Contribute to apprenticeship recruitment activities.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Level 2 qualification related to support of learners e.g. coaching/mentoring/learning support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience of working with young people in a support or related role
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Knowledge of the OFSTED Education Inspection Framework
• Passion for education and student development
• Level 2 English and Maths
