About the role as a Motor Vehicle Teacher:
As a Motor Vehicle Teacher and expert Motor Mechanic, you will become an integral part of our dynamic and inspiring teaching team at Banbury College. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and deliver exceptional teaching, learning, and assessment for our Motor Vehicle courses.
You should have a comprehensive understanding of Motor Vehicle mechanics, ideally as a trained and experienced mechanic, with the capability to deliver engaging and effective lessons to our Level 1 and Level 2 students.
This is a full-time, permanent position (37 hours per week)
As a Motor Vehicle Teacher, you may also be eligible for an additional payment of up to £6,000 through the Levelling Up Premium Payment scheme. This incentive is available to eligible teachers within their first five years of teaching in Further Education. What do you need to be successful as a Motor Vehicle Teacher?
We are seeking a Motor Vehicle Teacher who can serve as a role model for our students, ensuring they graduate with not only their professional qualifications but also the essential skills and attributes needed to thrive in the automotive industry. A genuine passion for working with and mentoring young people is crucial.
While prior teaching experience or qualifications are advantageous, they are not mandatory. If you possess the qualifications or experience necessary to teach our Motor Vehicle courses and have the potential to be an inspiring educator, we will provide you with the training, development, and support required to succeed in the Further Education sector.
Key Requirements for Motor Vehicle Teacher:
Additionally, you should have a flexible approach, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities. You will need to demonstrate the capacity to engage and motivate students while embodying the professional qualities we aim to instil in our learners.
