Data Protection Officer - St. Austell - Salary: £32,413.82 FTE (pro-rata salary for part-time £19,711.11) - Hours per week: 22.5 - Weeks per year: 52 - Closing Date: 6 October 2024 - Interviews: TBC

Based at our St. Austell campus, we are seeking an experienced Data Protection Officer who will be responsible for the Cornwall College Group's approach to data protection and ensures compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulations.

The Data Protection Officer will be responsible for oversight of Data Protection, Records Management, Freedom of Information and ePrivacy regulations and will provide specialist advice and support leaders, managers and staff whilst also managing relationships will appropriate regulatory bodies.

Applicants should have extensive knowledge and application of relevant data protection legislation and ICO guidance as well as knowledge of data sharing agreements, privacy, consent and data.

This is a part-time role, working 22.5 hours per week. Hybrid working options are available.
