Position: Accounts Receivable Assistant (Credit Control)

Salary: £24,450 - £27,072 Per Annum Pro Rata

Contract: Permanent

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 25 Hours per week X 52 Weeks per year

About the Role

As part of the Finance team this role deals with all aspects of accounts receivable & credit control for the organisation and associated companies, ensuring all monies are recorded accurately and payments received. The current key objectives for the role are:

Key Objectives:
• Supporting the Finance Team to deliver the finance strategy across the College.
• Ensuring the integrity of the sales & fees ledger data into the finance system and compliance to relevant policies, procedures & controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raising Sales & Fees Invoices
  • Accurate allocation of payments received
  • Collection of outstanding debts in-line with Credit Control & Debt Collection procedures
  • Reconciliation of Debtor accounts and associated ledgers and resolution of reconciling items
  • Preparing and issuing month end reports.
Skills & Knowledge

  • Finance administration experience with medium / large size organisation, and associated complexity
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail and used to working to deadlines, including re-prioritisation of tasks as necessary

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
