An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the management team of Duchy College as Farms Director.

As Farms Director, reporting directly into the College groups Exectutive Leadership team, you would be responsible for the full operation of the Duchy Stoke Climsland Estate. Duchy College is home to both the groups flagship Future Farm dairy facility and the prestigious Rural Business School. The college farm operates in balance between the educational and research needs of the college and its operation as a truly commercial enterprise.

You will also have occasional strategic and alignment input within the colleges other two farming estates in Bicton and Rosewarne.

The College farms are primarily a learning resource for a vast array of college students studying at all levels of further and higher education. The successful candidate would need to be able to manage the balance of educational need and commercial requirement, working very closely with the educational delivery teams and head of campus at Duchy College.

In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the farm, the role of farm director will require you to think strategically and co - ordinate the farms with the most recent grant funding and research projects sought out by the Rural Business school.

Duchy College, Stoke Climsland is located in the beautiful Tamar Valley with stunning views over Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and Kit Hill.
