Job description
  • West Suffolk College Sites - East Anglia
  • 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, Permanent
  • Salary: £28,443 per annum - £33,267 per annum (Depending on experience)
We are seeking an individual who can create interesting and engaging resources that help contextualise the subjects of Maths and English to facilitate learning. You will routinely monitor student progress, ensuring students are developing their knowledge and skills.

This role is responsible for delivering Functional Skills in Maths and English to students aged 19+. Due to the nature of the role, you will require a driving license and access to your own vehicle as there will be occasions where you will deliver sessions at students' workplaces as well across our centres. You will need a flexible approach to work as some evenings and weekends may be required to cover the needs of our Learning Centres.

The successful candidate will ideally hold or be working towards a Certificate in Education, PGCE or other relevant higher teaching qualification.
