Role: Student Experience Coordinator

Location: Tresham College, Kettering

Salary/Benefits: Salary from £24,000 DOE and Qualifications, 27 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, Peoples pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

Working Pattern: 37hrs per week (1.0 FTE)

About the role:

We are currently seeking a Student Experience Coordinator to join The Bedford College Group at our Tresham College Kettering Campus.

As a Student Experience Coordinator, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
  • Developing and delivering a full enhancement programme which contributes to and enhances the student experience and study programmes.
  • Supervising and promoting themed events and wellbeing services for students at Bedford College which will enhance the learning experience to help build skills for employability and empower learners in making an informed decision related to their career and social aspirations.
About you:

Ideal candidates will have:
  • Level 3 qualification in relevant subject e.g Youth and Community development
  • English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year
  • Recent experience of working successfully with young people and adults in a formal/informal environment
  • Evidence of understanding how to promote equality and diversity within the job role
  • Experience of using manual and IT based record systems
  • The ability to work effectively with young people and adults from a variety of backgrounds
  • Ability to organise and deliver activities and programmes for young people
  • Able to work flexible hours, possibly at short notice including some occasional evenings
  • Full driving licence
  • Willingness to travel to and work at all locations where we provide a service
