Lecturer Sport - based onsite, at Broxbourne Campus - Monday - Friday (36 hours per week), Salary £31,225 - £39,425 per annum depending on qualifications and experience, Holiday Entitlement 42 Days per annum, Closing 19th September 2024 @ Midday.

We are looking to recruit a Lecturer Sport at Hertford Regional College to deliver the full range of professional services associated with programmes of teaching, learning, assessment, and student support.

About The Role

As one of a team of Sport Lecturers, you will report directly to the Curriculum Manager for Sport, Public Service, Access to Higher Education, Health and Social Care, Childcare, Care and Education. The role involves planning, preparing, and delivering high quality, engaging and informative learning to a range of students who are considering a career in either the leisure, sport or fitness industries.

About You

You will be educated to GCSE's C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)

A Degree in Sports/Sport coaching related subject is desirable.

A Sport industry relevant qualification to level 3 is essential.

You will hold a teacher training qualification such as a PGCE or DTLLS, or the commitment to achieve this in a specified period.

Assessor and verification qualifications would be advantageous.
