Job Description: We are seeking a highly organised and motivated College Administrator to join our dynamic administrative team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the college's daily operations, supporting both staff and students, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including handling student enquiries, maintaining records, and processing enrolments.
  • Assist in the coordination of timetables, room allocations, and college events.
  • Provide administrative support to academic staff, including managing correspondence, preparing reports, and organising meetings.
  • Update and maintain student databases and other college systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Liaise with students, parents, and external stakeholders to provide information and resolve queries.
  • Support the finance team with invoicing, payments, and budget tracking.
  • Assist in marketing and promotional activities, including updating the college website and social media platforms.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new administrative processes and procedures.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database management.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; additional qualifications in administration or related fields are desirable.
