Our SEN school operates as both a specialized institution and a mainstream school, catering to children with mild learning needs. Position Details:

September start until July 2025, with the option to continue into the new academic year

Full-time position with the opportunity for career advancement and development

Paid trial days will be available for shortlisted candidates

Comprehensive SEN CPD provided to support your professional growth

Responsibilities:

Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with mild learning needs

Assisting in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)

Supporting classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

Promoting a positive learning environment and fostering independence in students

Participating in educational school trips and activity days to enhance students' learning experiences

Requirements:

Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable

A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students' learning and development

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of our students

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
