An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Science team for a part time Lecturer. This role is perfectly suited for an enthusiastic and flexible person.

We are looking for a passionate person to join our forward-thinking team, teaching Maths for Science, Maths and Statistics units on our Higher Education Extended Degree in Science programme in partnership with the University of Hertfordshire. There will also be the opportunity to teach Level 2 and Level 3 Applied Science units, we would welcome anyone with a biology and/or physics background.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic, strong team within a large high functioning department.

You will have the ability to promote, support and embed English and Maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching. You should also be committed to providing prompt, detailed assessment of student work with experience of personal tutoring including target setting.

Teaching experience and/or a science and background would be desirable although the ability to teach Maths to Science students is essential.
