Reed Further Education is seeking an Employability Skills Tutor to join our dedicated team. This role involves designing and delivering employability curriculum to young people, helping them develop the skills needed to become employable members of society. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people, including those with SEND/Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities.

• Work closely with learners with additional needs to provide tailored support and assistance.
• Deliver sessions focused on employability and job skills.
• Facilitate an inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse requirements of students.
• Monitor and support the progress and development of students.
• Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
• Provide encouragement and motivation to students to help them achieve their potential.

• Minimum of GCSE A-C/Level 2 in English and Maths.
• Level 3 teaching and or assessing qualification (desirable).
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
• Previous experience designing and delivering employability curriculum.
• Extensive experience of working with young people, in education, and individuals with SEND/Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities.
• In-depth understanding of the specific issues relating to the education of people who have learning difficulties/disabilities, sensory, physical impairments or other specific learning difficulties.
