As a Magic instructor, your primary role is to teach adults of all abilities the art of performing magic tricks and illusions. You will design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to beginners as well as those with more advanced skills, fostering an environment of curiosity, creativity, and skill development. Your responsibilities include demonstrating various magic techniques, sleight of hand, and performance strategies, while emphasizing the importance of presentation, timing, and audience interaction.

Furthermore, you'll provide individualized attention and feedback to help students refine their skills and overcome challenges. It's essential to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where participants feel encouraged to explore their interests in magic and develop their unique style. Additionally, you'll be responsible for organizing class materials, maintaining a safe learning environment, and promoting a positive learning experience for all participants. Staying updated on the latest trends and advancements in magic performance will enable you to continually enhance the quality of instruction and inspire your students' passion for magic.

Although a teaching qualification is an advantage, training opportunities exist within the College and we can support you in gaining your Award in Education and Training Level 3 Qualification (AET), within your first year of joining the college.
