About the Role

This position is based at our brand new London campus. Purpose-built and designed, it is a 19,000-square-foot creative hub for gaming, esports, music, media and computing situated in London's East End.

The role is responsible for leading a cohort of media students and successfully managing and supporting them to achieve their expected outcomes. Working with the Assistant Head of Curriculum, you will provide vision and oversight to your respective programme of study. You will oversee and lead the student journey within their study programme, and work with the Assistant Head to ensure that all learners have a consistent, engaging and successful experience .

The successful candidate will support the Assistant Head with quality functions; such as walkthroughs and IV. You will plan and deliver effective course progress sessions and individually support students to develop strong knowledge, skills and behaviours through a progressive and impactful one-to-one progress review schedule which meets the needs of all learners. You will effectively plan and deliver inspiring lessons , with a teaching caseload proportional to learner numbers within your area.

About You

You will be an experienced educator with a proven track record of effective student management within further education. You will have a teaching qualification at level 4 or above and it is desirable that you have experience of teaching across a range of levels within the Media curriculum.

You will be a visionary with the leadership experience to engage, implement and drive forward change.

You will have knowledge and experience in one or more media disciplines, to include graphic design and photography .

You will work with experienced, passionate tutors as well as within a support service provided by our Central Team. Working at Access Creative College means working with learners and staff who are engaged, enthusiastic and passionate about education.

Salary Scale: £30,750-£35,750 per annum
