  • West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds
  • 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - Maternity Cover - starting November 2024
  • Salary: £28,443 per annum - £40,350 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Are you a first-class Lecturer passionate about Animal Care?

We are looking for a Lecturer in Animal Studies, with a specific focus on animal nutrition and feeding practices. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual with in-depth knowledge and expertise in animal nutrition across diverse species, gained through working within the animal sector.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering comprehensive and up-to-date content to students at different levels (Level 1 - Level 3), with a strong emphasis on practical applications and real-life scenarios to bridge the gap between industry practices and academic learning.

In this role you will need to have strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively within a vibrant and passionate team environment. The ideal candidate should contribute positively to the team dynamics, fostering an atmosphere of mutual support and enthusiasm. Willingness to actively engage in team-based curriculum development, share insights, and contribute to the collective success of the Animal Studies department.
