Position: Curriculum Manager for English and Maths

Salary: £41,973 - £44,369 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 37 hours per week x 52 weeks a year

About the Role

Become a part of The Sheffield College team as a Curriculum Manager for English and Maths. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our mission to empower all students to reach their full potential and acquire essential work-related skills during their time at the college.

As a Curriculum Manager, you will take charge of the operational management of English and maths within one of the College's vocational academies, having a direct impact on the quality of the learning experience. You will provide day-to-day leadership and management of the English and maths curriculum and its associated staff, and will work in collaboration with Academy Directors and vocational Curriculum Managers to create and deliver excellent Study Programmes which prioritise the development of English and maths skills.

Positioned within the college's Academy structure, you will report directly to a Head of Quality, Teaching, Learning, and Assessment, ensuring alignment with the college's overarching objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Improving student outcomes so that pass rates are maintained at or above national rates
  • Developing and maintaining a relevant, future focused curriculum that meets local and regional needs.
  • You will be part of the Academy Leadership Team and will need to work collaboratively across the College to deliver strategy and objectives.
Skills & Knowledge
