Lecturer in Maths for Adult Learners 0.6 FTE (to include evenings), 21.6 hours per week fixed term until 31 July 2025 £32,732 - £39,096 per annum pro rataWe are looking for an inspirational Lecturer to join our Adult Essential Skills teaching team, delivering both daytime and evening classes to adult learners across both GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths (Entry Level 3, Level 1 & Level 2).
Familiarity with both courses and awarding bodies (OCR and City & Guilds) is essential.
Applicants should have a level 3 qualification, have significant experience and should be comfortable delivering lessons using a blended learning approach where necessary. The position includes Course Lead responsibilities.
This would suit an individual who is passionate about adult learning and wants to work in a stimulating and challenging environment and to help develop and grow this provision.
Ideally you will have teaching experience and be a qualified teacher or will have the commitment to obtaining the appropriate qualification.
