Cleaning Team Leader

We are looking for a Cleaning Team Leader to join us at our Openshaw Campus on a permanent, full time (35 hours per week, 06:00 - 13:30, late shift on occasion 10:30 - 18:00) basis.

To supervise, organise and lead a team of Cleaners to provide an effective and efficient cleaning service across a designated college campus. You will monitor quality & standards and line manage the personnel of the campus cleaning team, in line with TMC SLA's, strategies, policies & procedures. With an innovative & sustainable approach, you will lead & encourage the cleaning team to deliver a professional, comprehensive, high-quality service to all building users.

In order to do this role, you will need:

  • Understanding of COSHH regulations.
  • Experience in a supervisory role within an education environment.
  • Machine experience.
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Implement COSHH and task-based risk assessments.
  • Competent IT user.
