We have an exciting opportunity to join us as an Achievement Tutor on a permanent, part time (17.5 hours per week) basis.

The role is based at our Openshaw Campus however, flexibility is required to work on other campuses to meet the priorities of the curriculum areas.

As directed by the Head of Department English, maths, and Progress, manage allocated students/groups students, and deliver a highly effective tutorial and pastoral programme which ensures the overall academic, pastoral, social and behavioural progress of students is tracked and supported so students achieve outstanding retention, achievement, progress, and progression outcomes.

In order to do this, you will need:

  • Certificate of education or PGCE.
  • Current and valid industry specialism.
  • Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).
  • Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification.
  • English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above.
