Providing day-to-day generalist HR support in line with the College's strategic objectives, you will work proactively with managers in conjunction with the Senior HR Advisor to support and implement strategies which select, develop and retain the best staff. Working in a business partnering capacity with line managers, the HR Advisor will understand issues, opportunities, undertake recruitment, identify new ways of working and assist managers in understanding and implementing HR procedures and policies.

The ideal candidate will possess at least two years' experience of working in a generalist HR environment, including recruitment and training. Qualified to at least level 3, the ideal candidate will also possess a CIPD level 5 qualification or be working towards it. With a high degree of professional integrity and excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, you will be comfortable working at pace and juggling a busy workload. You will have a methodical approach to administration and record keeping with excellent IT skills, and confidence to use and develop virtual solutions to meet the needs of the organisation.
