About the role: IT and Gaming Teacher
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated IT and Gaming Teacher to join our team at the Farnham Campus. Our goal is to drive transformative and progressive change through education, and we require someone who shares this vision.
Whether you're an experienced professional in IT or Gaming looking to transition into teaching, or an established educator seeking to enhance our UAL Gaming and CTEC IT programs, this could be the perfect role for you.
What makes a successful IT and Gaming teacher at Activate Learning?
To excel in this position, you should possess a relevant professional qualification in IT or Gaming, and ideally, hold a degree in a related field. While previous teaching experience and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification are preferred, we welcome applications from individuals without formal teaching credentials who can inspire our students and are open to completing a teaching qualification. Please note that unqualified candidates would begin at a lower salary point, which can be discussed during the interview if shortlisted.
Additionally, you'll need to be adaptable, with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. A successful candidate will be able to engage and inspire students while embodying the qualities we aim to instil in our learners.
