Lecturer - IT

Here at Merton College, we are looking for a Lecturer in IT to deliver outstanding quality teaching, learning, assessment, and tutorial support to students, to maximise achievement and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in supporting the development of the curriculum, with employer engagement and learner skills development central.

We're looking for someone who holds a degree or equivalent in an IT related discipline and who has previous experience of teaching IT in an FE College or School. You'll be able to use programming languages, data modelling, cyber security and website development whilst successfully tutoring and supporting learners.

With a strong working knowledge of current IT BTEC level 2 & 3 framework for teaching, learning, assessment, and quality assurance, you will have a successful record of setting and implementing target setting, monitoring and reviewing progress, and have evidence of effective employer engagement in curriculum design and delivery.
