Technician - Music

The Manchester College has many Campus locations across Greater Manchester, each with its own specialist cutting-edge facilities within a friendly and supportive environment. We are the largest Further Education College in the UK providing education and training to a wide range of learners.

We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Technician (Music) on a permanent, full time (35 hours per week) basis.

The role will be based at our City Campus however, support will be required both on campus and in our partner venue Band on the Wall, evening work may be required.

As a Technician (Music) you will support the teaching and learning objectives of planned curriculum programmes through the provision of technical support. To order, allocate and maintain all materials and equipment required by staff and students for curriculum delivery and assessment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Level 2 English & Mathematics.
  • Industry relevant qualification as applicable by specialist function.
  • First Aid qualification (or be prepared to work towards within first year).
