About the role:
Activate Learning now have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Admissions Operations Manager to join our Advice and Admissions Team at Reading College.
You will lead and manage the operational delivery of the campus-based Advice Centres and Reception areas across Berkshire, ensuring the team deliver an exceptional customer experience. The team is often the first point of contact for many new learners or visitors to the college, so it is important that we deliver an outstanding customer experience which raises the reputation of Activate Learning and sets it apart from other providers.
You will be instrumental in growing and developing the team of receptionists and admissions advisers in Berkshire, supporting them to provide a customer-focused admissions service that meets strategic performance targets and complies with quality control systems and regulatory guidance. You will work closely with the Group Head of Advice and Admissions to evolve the Activate Learning service standards to ensure they are met and exceeded. You will also take a group strategic lead in one of the following aspects of the service, Applications, Enrolment or General Enquiries and Customer Service.
What do you need to be successful as an Admissions Manager?
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing a team within a customer-facing service. You will be customer focused with an awareness of compliance, quality assurance, and working towards targets/KPIs.
With strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, you will have the ability to manage and motivate a team, monitoring and improving performance.
