Branding and Design Executive

Role: Branding and Design Executive

Location: Bedford or Tresham Campus

Salary/Benefits: Salary from £29,000 DOE and Qualifications, 27 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, Teachers pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

Working Pattern: 37hrs per week (1.0 FTE)

About the role:

We are currently seeking a Branding and Design Executive to join The Bedford College Group based at either our Bedworth or Tretham campus, with travel between both sites.

As a Branding and Design Executive, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
  • Drive the visual identity of The Bedford College Group brand and its sub-brands, aligning with the brand strategy to meet the Group's objectives through oversight and delivery of corporate design and visual identity work for online and offline communication materials.
  • Lead the creative development and design for key campaigns and projects as agreed with the Group Head of Corporate Communications and PR.
  • Oversee all aspects of brand management and visual identities across the Group, implementing new platforms to ensure consistency across all colleges.
About you:

Ideal candidates will have:
  • Degree in a design discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
  • Proven expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects for motion graphics.
  • Advanced operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and relational databases for producing and presenting information to diverse audiences.
  • At least one year's experience of developing and implementing design campaigns that have measurable impact.
  • Strong design and creative skills, including online communications campaigns, email marketing, and external signage.
  • Experience of working in the education sector.
  • Experience in developing motion graphics and video
  • Capacity to travel independently to the Group's campuses, exhibitions, and events.
