Head of Exams 37 hrs per week, 52 weeks £39,261 - £42,893 per annum About the role The College is seeking to employ a Head of Exams to join our dedicated and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the examinations team to provide a professional and effective service to support the vision and mission of the College.
You will take a proactive lead in the quality assurance and operational management of the College's examinations and assessments service, ensuring processes and practices adhere to internal standards and external requirements and are focused on student success.
You will manage a team of exam officers, administrators and invigilators to provide information and guidance of the highest quality.
You will liaise with a broad range of internal stakeholders and awarding bodies to ensure all processes meet internal and external requirements, including a thorough understanding of external and internal methodologies, specifications, guidance, rules and regulations.
About you You will have a good standard of education (A-level or equivalent, and a level 3 management qualification or equivalent experience), significant management skills and experience of operational delivery to a high standard. You will have good knowledge of national qualifications and an understanding of curriculum issues. You will have excellent working knowledge of developing and maintaining systems and procedures and be highly organised and self-motivated, with excellent written and oral communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team.
