Procurement Manager - onsite, based at Ware Campus - Monday - Friday (36 hours per week), Salary £45,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. Holiday Entitlement - 25 Days per annum plus bank holidays, Closing date 19th August 2024 @ Midday.

We are currently recruiting a Procurement Manager for Hertford Regional College (HRC) to overseeing all aspects of the procurement process, from sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.

About The Role

As the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the procurement process, from sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organisation has access to the necessary resources, materials, and services to meet our operational needs and deliver on our strategic objectives. You will ensure that compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities are adhered to.

About You

The successful candidate will be highly analytical, numerate, with excellent communication skills and a good attention to detail.

You will have experience working within a similar role including the following key responsibilities; Supplier Relationship Management, Public contracts, Tender processes, Planning techniques and risk management.

You will have GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above or a Level 2 Qualification in Literacy and Numeracy and hold a Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply Qualification.
