Inspire Education Group is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to take on the pivotal role of Assistant Principal Adult Curriculum and Partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of adult education in our region and make a significant impact on the lives of our learners.

In this role, you will oversee and grow our Adult Curriculum and Partnerships. You will provide strategic direction through developing innovative adult learning programmes. You will build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and key agencies, including the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, the Greater Lincolnshire LEP, and the ESFA. Additionally, you will be involved in and plan for adult learning through devolution plans in Lincolnshire.

As the Assistant Principal Adult Curriculum and Partnerships, some of the key responsibilities include:
  • Adult Education Leadership: Oversee all aspects of Adult Education programmes, conduct needs assessments, develop innovative curricula, lead and motivate a dedicated team, and strengthen links with higher education.
  • Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organisations, and government agencies, securing grants and funding, and collaborating on customised training programmes.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic plan for the growth of Adult Education programmes, conduct market research, analyse data, and stay abreast of best practices.
  • Line Management: Manage staff, covering recruitment, performance management, and team leadership.
  • Budgetary Management: Plan, forecast, implement, and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced individual with a proven track record in adult education leadership. You will possess excellent strategic thinking, relationship-building, and communication skills. A deep understanding of the local region, including the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority and the Greater Lincolnshire LEP, is essential.

Candidates must hold a degree (level 6) in a relevant field or possess equivalent knowledge and experience, a professional management qualification or comparable experience, a teaching qualification, as well as hold a minimum of Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy, equivalent to GCSE English Language and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
