Sessional English Tutor

Job description
WM College has a highly successful and ambitious English department, which is passionate about supporting adults in Camden to gain essential skills and qualifications, improve their life chances and realize their potential.

We are seeking a sessional English tutor committed to successfully teaching English to adults Functional Skills. The post will include teaching on Saturdays and/or two evenings a week.

Applicants must hold a PGCE or equivalent and an English Subject Specialism. Solid IT skills and an ability to delivery some online learning is required.

The successful candidate will have outstanding teaching skills both in the classroom and when delivering engaging online learning and will have a passion for teaching adults in a supportive environment.

With 9 teaching hours available, there may also be further opportunities for cover and other non-contact hours throughout the year.

Interview and assessment will take place Thursday 22nd August 2024.
