IT Service Desk Analyst

About the Role:

You will be providing first/second line technical support and advice to staff and students on hardware/software issues over the phone and using remote connection software and have the opportunity to be exposed to third line queries and projects.

This is a varied, busy and demanding role in a team where you will be developed and have the opportunity to progress within the IT sector.

Our IT department covers the support and maintenance of all the system technologies used on our UK based campuses. Each part of IT Services plays a key role in the student’s academic journey, ensuring they are given the tools to achieve the best possible qualifications.

Here on the IT Service Desk at Activate Learning, we are the first port of call for IT issues that arise and have access to a number of systems that keep the productive flow of our company. We are now an award winning service that takes great pride in our ability to give all customers a great experience when contacting us.

What do you need to be a successful Service Desk Analyst at Activate Learning?

You will need to be passionate about IT and delivering impeccable customer service to a range of employees across the Group. Experience within retail, customer service or working within a helpdesk would be extremely beneficial. You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to proactively review and support the team in delivering a speedy IT service.

We are a small friendly team, providing a high-quality payroll and pensions service for all departments. We want people who enjoy working as part of team, but also have the self-motivation to work independently. The ability to prioritise your workload is also important.

To be considered for this role you must have problem solving skills with the ability to use a range of computer packages.
