About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join this successful and highly motivated department at Eccles Sixth Form College as a Work Placement Officer within the Life Sciences Department. The Life Sciences department encompasses Animal Studies, Equine Studies, Animal Nursing Assistants and Applied Science. We are offering a position with flexibility on working days and reimbursed travel costs.

The main elements of this role will be supporting learners to secure work placement positions, performing due diligence checks alongside creating and maintaining strong relationships with employers.

An ideal candidate will be a dedicated, enthusiastic, and self-motivated person with a passion for supporting the learning experience of our Life Science learners. This role requires a calm working approach, the ability to multi-task, flexibility and commitment.
