Position: Lecturer in Maths

Salary: £30,416 - £37,484 per annum (pro-rated for part time)

Contract: Temporary until Summer 2025

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 14.48 hours per week x 52 weeks per year (2 days per week)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly talented, student focused Maths Lecturer to join our Access to Higher Education teaching team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about teaching and wants to support students in reaching their potential. This is a varied role where you can make a difference in adult learning, skills and development. If you have a passion for creative and innovative delivery and like working a spart of a team, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional teaching supporting students to achieve excellent results
• Inspire students to appreciate and enjoy maths
• Deliver Level 3 maths to adult learners in Access to Higher Education
• Create a passion in students for the subject and desire to develop their understanding
• Manage classroom and learner behaviours including attendance
