About the role: We are looking for an Associate Lecturer - for one or more of the following areas - Business, Leadership and Management, Travel and Tourism and/or HR. As a Lecturer you will play a pivotal role in the success of the students through:
- Delivering and assessing on courses within the Business department.
- Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.
- Managing students' learning and provide a high-quality learning experience.
- Contributing pro-actively to developments in the Department in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
About you: - Relevant qualification for the subject applying to teach
- English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent Industry experience of subject sector applying to teach
- Experience of meeting deadlines
- Experience of monitoring and recording data and taking appropriate actions
- Keeping up to date with developments in subject specialism and sharing expertise with colleagues
- Evidence of high performance in previous roles/jobs
- Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Evidence of understanding how to promote equality and diversity within the job role
- Ability to effectively research, develop and implement new learning materials to engage students in learning
- Ability to extend students learning experience by developing and implementing appropriate vocational opportunities.
- Responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults and for raising any concerns
