We're seeking a highly skilled Database Management & Access Lead to join our dynamic MIS team at Inspire Education Group. In this crucial role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the college has the information it needs to thrive.

What You'll Do:
  • Be the data guardian, overseeing and optimising our SQL Server databases for peak performance, security, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with the MIS team to develop a strategic roadmap for our information systems, ensuring they evolve alongside the college's needs.
  • Implement robust backup and recovery procedures to minimise downtime and keep our critical data safe.
  • Lead the charge on database performance monitoring and optimisation, ensuring fast query execution speeds for everyone.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, sharing your expertise and best practices with your colleagues.
You're a Perfect Fit If You Have:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Information Systems.
  • Solid experience in a senior MIS role within the FE sector (further education).
  • Expertise in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • A passion for data security, integrity, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide your team and stakeholders.
  • A proactive and "can-do" attitude with a commitment to continuous learning.
