Reporting and Systems Lead

Salary                        Point 41 - £45,559 per annum

We're seeking a talented and experienced Reporting & Systems Lead to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll play a key part in shaping the future of our Management Information Systems (MIS).

What you'll do:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of large-scale MIS projects.
  • Design and deliver insightful SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards.
  • Champion best practice in MIS policies and procedures.
  • Manage and support multi-site MIS operations.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to colleagues across the college.
  • Present complex data at Executive and Board level.

What we're looking for:

  • Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in Information Systems.
  • Significant experience in a senior MIS role within the FE sector.
  • Proven track record of leading successful MIS projects.
  • Strong understanding of MIS systems, FE funding methods (including apprenticeships), and College Management Information Systems.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Business Intelligence, and Reporting Services (desirable).
  • Advanced IT skills including .NET framework, Power BI, SQL Server, and data visualization tools (highly desirable).
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, with a passion for building strong working relationships.
