Humly is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Burnley on a full-time basis. This rewarding role involves supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, assisting with classroom management, and providing individual and group support to young children to enhance their learning experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with early years children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lesson plans tailored to early years children.
Support individual students and small groups to reinforce learning concepts through play-based and structured activities.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Prepare and organise learning materials and resources appropriate for EYFS.
Provide support during school activities and outings.
Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support student development.
