JOB TITLE: LEARNER SUPPORT OFFICER

LOCATION: KINGS LYNN

HOURS: 22.5 PER WEEK, 36 WEEKS PER YEAR (TERM-TIME ONLY)

SALARY: £12,638 - £12,740 PER ANNUM (INCLUSIVE OF A NON-CONTRACTUAL RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION PREMIUM OF £1,263 PER ANNUM, REVIEWED ANNUALLY)

DURATION: 12 MONTH FXED TERM CONTRACT (IN THE FIRST INSTANCE)

CWA are recruiting for an additional Learner Support Officer to provide one to one support to a learner with a hearing impairment. This role involves supporting the learner in academic and practical lessons to aid their studies through BSL translation.

It is essential for the successful post holder to have at least a Level 2 qualification in British Sign Language and to have worked with young people with additional needs. It is not essential for you to have experience of supporting with the classroom and full training and support will be provided.

We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Additional Learning Support team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength.
